How did you hear about the TETRA World Congress? Artevea are a leading manufacturer within the TETRA community and have contributed to the TETRA World Congress for many years.
What were your main objectives when you considered sponsoring/Exhibiting at TETRA World Congress? Our main objectives will be to showcase existing and new products based on the TETRA standards. Our objective will be to educate the visitors to TWC to the highest standards of Networks based on ToIP and Distributed Intelligent networks, for which we have been the pioneers and leaders of for some time. New and existing professional radio users are welcome to review our designs and products with a view for adopting them for their own use in the field.
Q: How did the Congress help you meet your objectives? Congress assists us in reaching the maximum audience for the region it is held in. It also provides us with benchmarking against other manufacturers and networking for providers of complimentary services to our own offering. Traditionally the results are viewed based on the quality and not always necessarily the quantity of attendees.
Q: Do you think you saved time/money by consolidating meetings at the event? Typically the event offers a saving in time and local travel to the country where the event is held. By attracting regional visitors it also offers the same saving in a shorter period of time, although there will always be a requirement to meet clients, channels and to see locations of deployments.
Q: What were the highlights/top takeaways of the event for you? Meeting the relevant decision makers at end users organisations gives the greatest highlight. Creating new Channels to market holds just as much weight, although without the new users and those planning to migrate being at each event, we typically can only be guided by Channels which doesn’t always provide the initial and correct information for a long term commitment to a location or to its clients. Top takeaways will always include presentations from new TETRA users and what decision process and planning they applied to their move.
Q: How are you getting involved with the series/event moving forward? Artevea have already committed to a stand and presentations and will continue to contribute to the event while inviting Channels and end clients.
